General
What is Snapcaster?
Snapcaster is a Canadian search engine for collectible trading card games - including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, One Piece, and more. It lets you search and compare listings from 80+ Canadian online stores in one place so you can find the best price and complete your purchase.

How does Snapcaster work?
Snapcaster aggregates card listings from Canadian stores into one place. When you search for a card, we show you the matching listings across participating stores with their prices, conditions, and stock so you can compare and buy from the store you prefer.

What is Snapcaster Marketplace?
Snapcaster Marketplace lets you buy TCG singles from verified Canadian stores and pay for items from multiple stores in a single cart and a single transaction on Snapcaster. Browse the marketplace and compare listings before you buy.
The Marketplace currently supports singles only. Sealed products are not sold on Snapcaster directly - use Sealed Searchto compare sealed inventory and buy on each store's own website.

Where are items shipped and sold from?
Snapcaster Marketplace is Canada-only. All orders ship to Canadian addresses, and items are sold and fulfilled by the individual verified stores listed on the marketplace - not by Snapcaster directly. Each store ships from its own location in Canada, and its shipping rates and delivery timelines are shown before you pay.
Some sellers may not ship to PO boxes. If a seller can't deliver to your address, they may cancel your order with that store before it ships. Because that is a seller-initiated cancellation of their whole order, you are refunded the items, shipping, the tax on both, and that order's share of the purchase fee - see Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?.

How old do I have to be to use Snapcaster?
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Snapcaster account. If you are a minor in your province or territory (generally under 18), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Snapcaster, and they are responsible for your account activity. See our Terms and Conditions for full eligibility requirements.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
How often are prices and inventory updated?
Listings are synced from each store's system on a regular basis, so prices and stock can shift between syncs. The store's own website always has the final say on the current price and availability.

Searching
How do I search for a single card?
Open Single Search, choose your game, and type a card name - suggestions appear as you type. Submit the search to open a results page listing each store's offers for that card, with condition, printing, price, and stock.
Single Search covers stores on a range of systems, including legacy inventory platforms such as Crystal Commerce, BinderPOS, and Conduct Commerce. Each listing links out to the store's own website, where you complete the purchase directly with that store.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
How do I search for many cards at once?
Multi Search lets you paste a list of card names - one per line - and search them together. Supported games are Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, One Piece, Star Wars: Unlimited, and Flesh and Blood. Free accounts can search up to 10 cards at a time; Snapcaster Pro raises the limit to 100.
Choose your game and a minimum acceptable condition before you search. On the results page you can review each store's offers, add listings to a cart to tally your picks, and export your list. You complete purchases on each store's own website.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
Why can't I add sealed products to a cart?
Sealed Searchis a price-comparison tool. Sealed products link out to each store's own website, where you buy directly from that store - Snapcaster does not process payments for sealed products.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
Why is there a price or availability discrepancy?
Prices and stock are synced from each store's system regularly, so a product may sell out or change price on the store's website before our next sync. The store's website always reflects the current price and availability. If you notice a persistent discrepancy, let us know on Discord with the store name and product.

I have an issue with an order from a store I found in search
Single Search and Sealed Search purchases are completed on the store's own website, not on Snapcaster. Order issues - including shipping, refunds, and product problems - are handled directly with that store. We can help point you to the right store contact, but we don't process payments or fulfillment for these purchases.

Buying - Marketplace
Why is checkout disabled?
Marketplace checkout may be unavailable for a few reasons:
- Manual stores- some stores are not fully integrated yet, so their listings link you to the store's own website to complete payment rather than checking out on Snapcaster.
- Express stores - fully integrated stores support checkout directly on Snapcaster. Look for the Express badge on their listings.
- Out of stock- inventory syncs from each store's system, so an item can sell out on the store's side before you finish checking out.
You don't need an account to buy - you can check out as a guest. If checkout is disabled unexpectedly, try refreshing your cart or reach us on Discord.

Why can't I ship outside of Canada?
Snapcaster Marketplace ships to addresses within Canada only. The stores on our platform are Canadian businesses fulfilling domestic orders, and our checkout and support workflows are built for Canadian delivery.

Can I ship to a P.O. box?
Some sellers may not ship to PO boxes. If a seller can't deliver to your address, they may cancel your order with that store before it ships. Because that is a seller-initiated cancellation of their whole order, you are refunded the items, shipping, the tax on both, and that order's share of the purchase fee - see Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?. If one store in your cart can't ship to your address, you may need to use a physical street address for that part of your purchase.

Orders - Marketplace
Where can I find my orders?
Sign in and visit Your Orders to view active and past marketplace purchases. Each order shows the store, items, status, and shipping details.
If a seller hasn't shipped yet, you can request a cancellation from the order page. For anything else, reach us on Discord or at info@snapcaster.gg.

Order tracking
After a seller ships your order, tracking details appear on the order page in your account. Sellers are responsible for providing accurate tracking numbers and carriers.
Delivery timelines vary by store, shipping method, and destination within Canada. If tracking hasn't updated within a few business days of the estimated ship date, reach us on Discord or at info@snapcaster.gg with your order ID.

Why did a Seller cancel my order?
A seller may cancel an order for several reasons, including:
- The item sold out in-store before the online order was fulfilled
- The listed condition or language did not match available stock
- The seller could not ship to the provided address (for example, a PO box restriction)
- A pricing or catalog sync error was found after the order was placed
When a seller cancels, you are refunded the cancelled items, the shipping on a full cancellation, and the tax on both. If the seller hasn't shipped yet and cancels your entire order with that store, that order's share of the purchase fee is refunded as well, so you are made completely whole. If the seller cancels only part of their order, the purchase fee is not refunded - see Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?.
If you think a cancellation was made in error, reach us on Discord or at info@snapcaster.gg with your order ID.

Payments and Fees - Marketplace
What should I do if my payment was declined?
Common reasons a payment may be declined include:
- Incorrect card number, expiry date, or CVV
- Billing address does not match your bank's records
- Insufficient funds or card spending limit reached
- Your bank flagged the transaction as unusual activity
- Too many failed attempts in a short period
Verify your payment details, confirm your billing address matches your bank, and try again. If a charge appears on your statement but the order failed, the pending authorization should drop off within a few business days. Contact your card issuer if the problem persists.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
What forms of payment are accepted?
Available payment methods are shown at checkout before you submit your order. All charges are processed in Canadian dollars, so your bank may apply currency conversion fees if your card is denominated in another currency.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
What should I do if my payment was refunded?
Refunds are issued when an order is cancelled, an item can't be fulfilled, or a support case is resolved in your favour. A refund covers the affected items, the shipping on a full cancellation, and the tax on both; whether your purchase fee comes back depends on who cancelled and when - see Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?. Refunds return to your original payment method. Banks typically post refunds within 5-10 business days.
If you received a refund but expected your order to ship, check your email and order status for a cancellation notice. Reach us on Discord or at info@snapcaster.gg with your order ID if the reason is unclear.

What is the purchase fee?
Single cards purchased through Snapcaster Marketplace incur a 4.2% purchase fee on the item price. The fee is shown before you complete your order, alongside item prices, shipping, and tax - review the order summary at checkout for the full breakdown.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?
It depends on who cancelled. The purchase fee is refunded in one case only: the seller cancels your entire order with that store before it ships. That cancellation is not your fault, so you get every cent back, purchase fee included.
In every other case the purchase fee is kept:
- You request the cancellation and the seller honours it - even if nothing has shipped yet
- Only part of the order is cancelled, by you or by the seller
- The order already shipped and is refunded afterwards
The fee covers payment processing and platform services that are already performed by the time an order is placed, and those costs aren't recoverable. The cancellation-request dialog shows you the exact fee amount you won't get back before you submit, so you can decide with the full picture. Cancelled items, shipping on a full cancellation, and the tax on both are always refunded. The full rule is in our Terms and Conditions.

Support and Returns - Marketplace
I bought the wrong item
If the seller hasn't shipped yet, request a cancellation from the order page as soon as you can. Because the cancellation is your request rather than the seller's, your purchase fee isn't refunded - see Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?. Once an order has shipped, changes are at the seller's discretion - if something isn't right, reach us on Discord or at info@snapcaster.gg. We'll work with the seller to make it right.

I need to update the address on my order
Address changes are only possible before the seller ships your order. Reach us on Discord or at info@snapcaster.ggwith your order ID and the corrected Canadian address as soon as possible. Remember that some sellers don't ship to PO boxes.

Canceling an order
You can request a cancellation from the order page before the seller marks the order as shipped. After shipment, an order can't be cancelled in transit unless the seller agrees.
If the seller honours your request, you are refunded the items, shipping, and the tax on both, but the purchase fee is not refunded - it covers payment processing and platform services that were already performed. The dialog shows you the exact amount before you submit the request. See Is the purchase fee refunded if my order is cancelled?.

Stores
Can I sell on Snapcaster?
Selling on Snapcaster currently requires connecting your inventory through a supported platform such as StorePass or SortSwift - listings sync from your system rather than being created on Snapcaster directly. We don't yet support listing cards without one of these platforms, so individual collectors can't sell on Snapcaster right now.
If you run a Canadian store on a supported platform, apply through our store intake form and reach out on Discord or at info@snapcaster.gg.

Seller - Selling
How do I list my products on Snapcaster?
Selling requires connecting your inventory through a supported platform such as StorePass or SortSwift, since listings sync from your system rather than being created on Snapcaster. To get started:
- Submit our store intake form
- Complete seller onboarding and verification
- Connect your inventory through a supported platform (StorePass or SortSwift)
- Configure payout details in Seller Payouts
- Publish your catalog once your integration sync is live
Inventory, pricing, and stock sync automatically from your connected system - you don't manually upload individual listings on Snapcaster.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
How are prices and inventory synced?
Product data flows from your inventory system through a supported platform such as StorePass or SortSwift. Prices, quantities, conditions, and languages on Snapcaster reflect what's configured in your system, and updates propagate to Snapcaster automatically as your system changes.

What fees do sellers pay?
Sellers pay two fees on marketplace orders. Both are deducted before payout and reflected in your seller dashboard.
Marketplace fee - 5% of the merchandise price only. It does not apply to shipping, and it is capped at $50 per item, so the cap applies when a single item sells for more than $1,000 (5% of $1,000 is $50). The cap is calculated per item, not per order.
Credit card processing fee - 2.9% + $0.30 per order, applied to the entire order total including shipping. There is no cap on this fee.
Where required, sales tax is collected and remitted by Snapcaster on marketplace orders, so sellers don't separately remit marketplace sales tax for orders fulfilled through Snapcaster.

Card condition guidelines
List cards at the condition the buyer will receive. Use these general guidelines when grading inventory synced to Snapcaster:
- Near Mint (NM) - minimal to no visible wear. Slight edge or corner whitening acceptable on commons; foils should have no major scratches or clouding.
- Lightly Played (LP) - minor wear visible on close inspection: light scuffing, small edge whitening, or slight corner wear. No major creases or dents.
- Moderately Played (MP)- clear play wear including edge whitening, minor creases, or surface marks that don't affect legibility.
- Heavily Played (HP) - significant wear, creases, or whitening, but still intact.
- Damaged (DMG) - major defects such as tears, water damage, inking, or structural damage.
When in doubt, grade conservatively. Condition disputes are a leading cause of buyer issues and order cancellations.

Seller verification
Verified sellers have completed Snapcaster's onboarding review, which may include identity verification, business documentation, and a review of store policies and fulfillment practices.
Verification helps keep bad actors off the marketplace and ensures sellers understand shipping, grading, and fulfillment standards. Some sellers may be asked to complete verification before payouts are enabled or before their catalog goes live. When a buyer has an issue with an order, we'll work with the seller to make it right.

Catalog issues - missing products or variants
If a product or variant is missing from your Snapcaster catalog, check the following in your connected platform (StorePass or SortSwift):
- The item is assigned to your Snapcaster sales channel
- Stock quantity is greater than zero (if you hide zero-qty items)
- The card is mapped to the correct Snapcaster product catalog entry
- Condition, language, and finish variants are configured correctly
Catalog sync issues are usually resolved on the inventory-system side. If a product still doesn't appear after confirming your settings, reach seller support with the card name, set, and SKU.

Seller - Orders
How do I view my orders?
Sign in to your seller account and open Seller Ordersto see new, in-progress, and completed orders. Each order lists the buyer's Canadian shipping address, line items, and fulfillment status.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
How do I fulfill orders?
Ship orders promptly using appropriate protection (sleeves, top loaders, team bags, and rigid mailers for higher-value cards). Mark orders as shipped in your seller dashboard and enter a valid tracking number.
Confirm the shipping address before packing - including whether the destination is a PO box if your store doesn't ship to PO boxes. Use the address exactly as shown on the order.

Declining to fulfill an order
If you can't fulfill an order (item sold elsewhere, condition mismatch, unsupported shipping address, catalog error), cancel it from your seller dashboard as soon as possible and select an accurate reason.
Frequent cancellations hurt buyer trust. Keep inventory synced through your connected platform (StorePass or SortSwift) to minimize out-of-stock cancellations after an order is placed.

Seller - Payouts
How do I view my payouts?
Payout history and pending balances are available in Seller Payouts. Each payout shows order amounts, the marketplace fee, credit card processing fees, and your net deposit.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
How do I update my payout information?
Connect or update your bank account from Seller Payouts. Payout details are handled through our payment processor; Snapcaster does not store your full banking credentials. Changes may require re-verification before the next deposit is sent.
Last updated on July 15, 2026
When do I get paid?
Payouts are released on a rolling basis after an order is marked shipped and its hold window has passed. Hold windows vary by seller and may be longer for new sellers until a track record is established. Marketplace and processing fees are deducted before funds are transferred.
Mark orders as shipped promptly and include valid tracking so they become eligible for release.
